Carroll Dragons Swim/Dive Team
The Carroll Dragons Swim/Dive Team is one of the Top HS Programs in the State of Texas. THe Dragons are part of the UIL and Compete in Class 5A, the largest Class in Texas HS Athletes.
In 2010-2011, the Dragons were District and Regional Champions in both Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving. On the State level, the Dragon Men finished 1st, and the Women finished 2nd, in Class 5A at the Texas HS State Swimming & Diving Championships.
NISCA Dual Meet Power-Point rankings place Southlake Carroll HS Men and Women, 4th in the entire USA for all public schools, larger than 1900 students. The Dragons have posted 72 HS All-American listings in the past 5 years, with 22 listings in the 2009-2010 season.
Dragon Swimming is currently a no-cut Program with over 125 boys and girls training and competing in the 2010-2011 season. Coach Murphy and the Carroll HS Coaching Staff are building the #1 High School Swim Program in the State of Texas. "We build good citizens, not just good swimmers!"
The Carroll HS Dive Team (boys and girls)has been growing in both numbers and quality the past 5 years. 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 brought 5A State Diving Qualifiers in both Boys and Girls to Southlake Carroll HS, with one boy and girl also achieving HS All-American status. Coach Hryorchuk anticipates continued growth and foresees great things from the Carroll HS Dragon Dive Team.
The Carroll Dive Team (boys and girls) has been growing the past few years. More divers have qualified within the past year (in district and regional meets) than ever before. This region for diving is the most competitive in the state. Coach Hryorchuk anticipates continued growth and foresees great things from the Carroll Dragon Dive Team.
