Stroke Team
Team Structure
The child's technical improvement is our primary objective. The Stroke Team is divided into two groups of well-defined ability levels.
- Green Group. Prerequisite is 50 yards of freestyle with good side breathing and 25 yards of backstroke. Levels 6 and 7.
- Black Group. Prerequisite is 100 yards of freestyle, 75 yards of backstroke, 50 yards of breaststroke, and 25 yards of butterfly. Levels 8 and 9.
Once your child has mastered the exit criteria for the Black group, which is swimming a legal 100 yard individual medley (25 yards of each stroke) and a 300 yard freestyle, they will be encouraged to join the North Texas Nadadores.

We recommend swimmer attend practices at least two days per week.
Financial Obligations
Fees are $50 monthly for CISD residents and $55 monthly for non-residents. For the first month, fill out a registration form and a check for the first month's dues (checks payable to CISD). After the first month, you will be billed on a monthly basis.
This is a year round team. You MUST INACTIVATE your swimmer prior to the 1st of the month by filling out an inactivation form found in the lobby.
